This is a very interesting talk by a former Scientologist named Tory Christman. She talks about how she got into the cult as a young woman. In a fog of dope in Height Ashbury, she let her guard down and lost her critical thinking and fell for the sales pitch of some local Scientologists.

She also answers questions from audience members about the Head of Scientology David Miscavage and how he took control after Hubbard’s death. She explains the condition of clear, body thetans, and Xenu. She also talks about the Sea Org, how it started, and what the cult’s main purpose is. As she explained to an audience member when he asked for the Scientology for Dummies version, “Give me your money.”

She does go off on tangents before getting to her main point, but even those moments are fascinating:
