I know that you are not praying people, but please have a positive thought for Galveston, Texas tonight. Thanks.

Good things are coming.

Bruce, in light of what is happening in Galveston, I thought your signature was a little, shall we say, antithetical.

And while I am not a Christian, I have donated to the Red Cross relief fund recently, as I know many people are going to lose many things, but hopefully none will lose their lives.

“We have it recorded in a book called the Bible.”

To be blunt, the Bible records all manner of silly shit.

Valid point. But “all things work together for good” - even if it is not evident at the moment. The last chapter has not been written yet.

On behalf of those who have lost many things, thank you.

And also contradicting my signature:

Robert Ingersoll: “The inventor of the first plow did more good than the maker of the first rosary—because, say what you will, plowing is better than praying.”
