that I am just finishing up-‘Saxons, Vikings and Celts’ by British Archaeologist/Geneticist Bryan Sykes.
This is not a technical science book, but more of a historical account of the people of the British Isles. Laced with ancient mythology and modern DNA testing/evidence, it is an easy read and quite fun for those who enjoy ‘origins’
A much lighter read than my normal scientism stuff.
