Thousands of Facebook users have pledged to send millions of condoms to protest Pope Benedict XVI’s stance that condoms do not stop the spread of HIV. The Vatican has long opposed the use of condoms and other forms of birth control and encourages sexual abstinence to fight the spread of the disease.

That is great! I watched “Constantine’s Sword” last night. Author and former priest James Carroll said that if the church reacted to genocide and war to the way they would if condoms were dropped from airplanes across the globe, we’d be a lot better off.
