Attending the Scientology church has been on my agenda for quite some time now. Well, this weekend I finally get to cross it off my list of

"Other Wierd Wacky Cults I Have Attended"

It is a list that I have generated since leaving Mormonism. Other cults I have already crossed off my list include Eckankar, Jehovahh's Witnesses, and Fundie Christianity. Seeing how other cults view the world and drawing objective parallels from their world view to the Mormon world view is extremely beneficial for me.

I am excited. I can't wait.

Anyone is invited to go along with me if you want.

If you are unfamiliar with Scientology, here is the squeaky clean image they project:

And here is a site that addresses only a few of the concerns with Scientology, the cult.

I will return and report!

I was walking around looking for lunch one day and two women approached me, asking me if they wanted me to participate in a “survey”.

Sure.

“Have you ever heard of Scientology?”

Yeah.

“What is your impression of it?”

Scientology is a psycho cult whose founder was a devil worshipper.

(blank stares for about 3 seconds)

I then flipped them off with both hands, held that for a couple of seconds and continued on my way.  I think I had ramen for lunch that day.

mudfoot, they give you the spiel on all the expensive classes and how they would teach you how to become rich?

No, I didn’t listen to a pitch—the conversation ended as I’ve described—my two middle fingers the exclamation points.

L Ron Hubbard was a student of Aleister Crowley, who revelled in pedophilia, bloodlust and who worshipped the demons from his hallucinations.  Sociopathy is not sacred.
