And he’ll probably flash pentagrams at them right and left.

Right wing politics, as with religion, has an extreme strategy of ignorance and hate. How do they coordinate this shit, anyhow? It’s fucking otherwordly shit. It’s clear to me that these amoebae hate Obama as much or more than they hated Bill Clinton and are hell bent on completely destroying this country.

I mean, we’re talking the President of the United States here. He’s a role model for all children but especially Black American kids who probably have the highest school drop-out rates ... and he’s not supposed to talk to them about working hard and staying in school? This reeks of racism. It’s okay though for GWB to read about sheep to kindergartners ... and to keep reading while we’re under attack ... and he can’t even comprehend what he reads.

There are those who say we should be polite ... no name calling. Not me. Fuckwits! They’re all stupid idiot fucking fuckwits. I can’t fucking stand it!

Oh, come on.  We all know Obama gave his watered down, stay-in-school speech ONLY BECAUSE the right objected to the one he was going to give, about transforming America into a socialist utopia.  Thank God someone is keeping an eye on him.

Obama could announce a cure for cancer and the righties STILL wouldn’t want their kids to listen!

Anyway, check this out…

You can view both Obama’s “controversial” speech and Reagan’s 1988 speech to schoolchildren and see for yourself which is the more “political” speech.

Reagan’s was far more political.  Good link.

Republicans Get Rolled…And Deservedly So

I think this sums it up very well.  Whether or not you like Boortz, he’s spot on about this.  People on the right overreacted wildly and irrationally, and they made themselves look like complete fools.  Now the next time they want to persuade people that Obama is up to something, they won’t be taken seriously.  Score one for Obama.

Republicans screamed about “Bush Derangement Syndrome” for years.  I think that fear was overblown, though I also think there were some people whose hatred of Bush went beyond what was rational.  But now the same people who yelled the loudest about BDS are doing the exact same thing themselves vis-à-vis Obama.

I’ve no need for courtesy when fighting things heretical
I know the bible word for word; you’ll find me pedagogical
I have my faith so I’ve no need for ideas that are logical
Atheists and Pagans fall before my wit satirical
They’ll burn in hell just as they should; their cries will be so lyrical
I’m always right, you’re always wrong, my reasoning’s dogmatical
For I’m the very model of a Christian Evangelical

And next, the inevitable hypocrisy comes to the fore:

http://thinkprogress.org/2009/09/09/obama-bush-bus/

School district that barred students from Obama speech will bus them to Bush speech.

The Arlington Independent School District in Texas decided not to show President Obama’s address to students live yesterday because it reportedly didn’t want to interrupt its regularly scheduled lesson plans. However, the district has now decided to bus its students off-campus on Sept. 21 to hear President Bush speak:

District officials said it’s part of a Cowboys Stadium field trip that the North Texas Super Bowl Host Committee invited 28 fifth-grade classes to attend several months ago.

In addition to hearing from Bush and former first lady Laura Bush, the students will hear from legendary Dallas Cowboys players and North Texas business and community leaders. The event launches the Super Bowl committee’s largest-ever youth education program.

No.  They’ll be taken seriously just because they yell loudly and are the most whacked.  There are those who will believe without question anything disparaging President Obama, with the odds in favor of them being wrong, but that one time they are right they’ll exploit it to the hilt to show how all their prognostications are correct, as long as everyone forgets all the other times they were wrong.

Ain’t it the truth?  Somehow liberals who protest against Republican politics are idiots, but when Republicans do it to liberals they’re patriots.

You’re exactly right. After the “You lie” outburst by Rep. Wilson, the following day his cohorts claimed that he was a hero, while confirmation after confirmation from reputable independent sources continued to state that Obama was truthful and correct. Guess what? Wilson will go down as a hero to the same 50% who still believe it.

Did you see Jesus Camp? There was plenty of praises and prayers thrown at Bush in that horror show.

Yes, I saw that movie. I really did not have a problem with the Jesus camp. I thought it was extreme, but then again, those kids will always remember their religious upbringing!
