Wingnuts want you to join them in prayer (because last month’s prayer fest worked so well) to release the curse that has befallen on our country. HINT: A black man named Barack Husein Obama became president.

May Day - A Cry to God

One of May Day’s organizers and World Nut Daily contributor Janet Porter tells us how to break the curse and backs it up with scripture.

The good news is there is a way to break a curse. The checklist has been provided in 2 Chronicles 7:14: 1) humble ourselves, 2) pray, 3) seek God’s face, and 4) Repent and turn from our wicked ways. That’s exactly what we are going to do two months from now on May the 1st.

We’re also going to stand against the lies that this administration has spoken. No, Mr. Obama, we are not one of the largest Muslim nations; we are a nation under God – not Allah. Don’t believe me? Take a look at some of our state constitutions:

    * Alabama 1901, Preamble. We the people of the State of Alabama ... invoking the favor and guidance of Almighty God, do ordain and establish the following Constitution ...

    * Alaska 1956, Preamble. We, the people of Alaska, grateful to God and to those who founded our nation and pioneered this great land ...

    * Arizona 1911, Preamble. We, the people of the State of Arizona, grateful to Almighty God for our liberties, do ordain this Constitution ...

    * Arkansas 1874, Preamble. We, the people of the State of Arkansas, grateful to Almighty God for the privilege of choosing our own form of government ...

Those are just the “A’s.” On May 1 we’re going to have all 50 states represented to remember and repent.

If they are going to repent and turn from their wicked ways I am willing to lend my support.

If they really think it’s gonna work, then why don’t they designate a day of prayer to cure cancer? Or to end wars? Or to end poverty? Let’s see all Christians of this country unite and pray for something significant and truly beneficial to ALL of mankind - not just to protest this nation’s stance on gay marriage, or illegal immigrants, or even whether there is a public option in a healthcare bill. CURE CANCER!!! Idiots! How truly and utterly embarrassing these people are.

That’s an excellent question MrRon. I think it has to do with what they believe they can control. They know deep down that they have no control over disease, war, and poverty. In a lot of ways, these things empower them. If they didn’t have these things to blame on Satan, have an excuse to prepare for the second coming, and continue filling their coffers every Sunday, then what need would mankind have for religion.

Homosexuality and immigration however, they can legislate those things. They are great wedge issues in campaigns too. Right wing legislators use voters ignorance and sense of self-righteousness to their advantage.

Crisis.  Our nation has been in crisis before.  From our inception we faced insurmountable odds when we fought for freedom against the most powerful nation on earth.  We were in crisis at Pearl Harbor and when we faced the National Socialist Party in Germany.

But our nation has never been more in crisis than we are right now.

Now the enemies of freedom – the national socialists – hold the seats of power and influence within our own borders in Washington

On Sunday, America’s crisis reached the catastrophic state.  With the government takeovers so far, we are now a small step from a communist dictatorship.

That is why we are calling for a 40-day fast for our nation in crisis – beginning today until May the 1st.

The crisis is of our own doing.  We made choices in the last election with consequences that will be felt by children facing a taxpayer-funded abortionist’s knife.  Thank you, Bart Stupak.

Sellout Stupak wasn’t just a well-meaning pro-life guy who bought a piece of paper from the most pro-abortion president this nation has ever seen.  No.  He voted for abortion funding in the health-care bill, just as he announced in his speech to Michigan constituents beforehand – see the video. Bart Stupak has blood on his hands, and he and his cohorts must be removed from office in November.

Desecrating the Sabbath, Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and her Democratic lynch men in Congress did exactly what they said they’d do when they were voted into office.  And if you sent any of them to office with your vote, you, too, have blood on your hands.

Soon we all will – as this bill forces us to participate in killing innocent lives with our hard-earned tax money.

This woman is full of shit. The bill does not contain federal funding for abortion.

Right. But facts don’t matter to those people. See what we’re dealing with?

What none of these “fundamentalists” understand is that they are guilty of transgressing God’s law. Despite 2000 years of Christian practice to the contrary, God’s followers are to “keep holy the Sabbath,” which is the seventh day of the week, not the first.  The whole idea of praying and fasting to gain God’s favor is ludicrous. The Jews were his people and the Romans wiped them out in 70 AD. All those beautiful promises in the Psalms and the Prophets trampled by the Roman legions.
