Response Notification Gone Awry

I'm getting e-mail notices that certain topics on the Forum have new responses. However, when I look them up, there has been no new response. Sometimes it's a topic that has been dormant for a month or more. Anyone else having the same trouble? I sent a message to the Forum Administrator, but got no reply. These errors are now happening on a daily basis.

What happens is one of the spam fighters, including me, deletes spam within threads. You get the notice of the reply, but when you got to read it, it’s already been deleted. It was probably either Mel Gibson spanking or Katie Holmes touching her boobs.
