Typical of anti “drug” rants.  All the horrors, none of the joys.  Let’s be realistic, people don’t do “drugs” in the first place unless there is some real, though temporary, joy to be found.  An effect of mild social lubrication is insufficient to explain this drug’s massive appeal.

I thought the article was great. It didnt become cliched, like I feared it would.

Gerin Oil is a spoof.  Dawkins created this “drug” to cleverly point out how fundie fanatical theists come off so delusional.

There is no Gerin Oil… per se.

or

Gerin Oil is…. er…. god, created in man’s image.

Great article though, it spells it out clearly… and ties directly into Sam Harris’ book, The End of Faith.

How hard was that, seriously? It’s called an anagram, look it up.

Now go and re-read Dawkin’s article, it might make more sense.
