Sam Harris

Pastor of the First Southern Baptist Church of Buena Park, CA., openly endorsed Mike Huckabee for president, using church letterhead and announcing it on a radio show. This violates a federal tax law that says one can't use the church for promoting certain candidates. Rather than retract this, the pastor, Dr. Wiley S. Drake, called for a "“imprecatory prayers” to smite staff members of Americans United for Separation of Church and State, even naming them in a open letter to his flock, after the organization contacted the IRS.
