Pastor of the First Southern Baptist Church of Buena Park, CA., openly endorsed Mike Huckabee for president, using church letterhead and announcing it on a radio show. This violates a federal tax law that says one can't use the church for promoting certain candidates. Rather than retract this, the pastor, Dr. Wiley S. Drake, called for a "“imprecatory prayers” to smite staff members of Americans United for Separation of Church and State, even naming them in a open letter to his flock, after the organization contacted the IRS.

Nutjob pastor, nutjob congregation (at least those who respect him).
It’s kind of like this Baptist church gets to proclaim themselves a black magic spell-casting coven as suits the need, isn’t it?
The power of prayer? the Nature of evil? How many other thread topics might this fit under?

Way to create a name for yourself, Wiiley Drake!
