NEW YORK - A priest has been arrested on charges of stalking late-night talk show host Conan O’Brien by writing him threatening notes on parish letterhead, contacting his parents and showing up at his studio, prosecutors said Wednesday.

The Rev. David Ajemian, a priest in the Archdiocese of Boston, was arrested last week while trying to enter a taping session of NBC’s “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” at New York’s Rockefeller Plaza, said Barbara Thompson, a spokeswoman for the Manhattan prosecutor’s office.

Ajemian referred to himself as “your priest stalker” in one note and complained of not being allowed in to see an earlier taping of the O’Brien show, court papers say.

Interesting. I thought priests only went after young boys.

I don’t get it- why o’Brian ?  He’s not very attractive as far as I can see, and he sure is a flop as a comedian….or no—maybe he’s not ! Come to think of it he’s funny because he’s still on air and that’s a laugh . . “Weird ” is a better word for him. Maybe the father want’s to talk to him about confession. ? What was the latest news on this ? Anything interesting ?

Priest Fit for Trial in Conan Case

NEW YORK - A priest accused of stalking Conan O’Brien was found fit to stand trial Friday, although his lawyer acknowledged he has been treated for psychological problems.

State Supreme Court Justice Abraham Clott issued the ruling after a court-appointed psychologist examined the Rev. David Ajemian of the Archdiocese of Boston. The priest later posted bail, which had been set at $2,500.

Ajemian’s attorney, Eric Seiff, agreed the priest was fit for trial. But Seiff said Ajemian had been taking medication and has been treated for a year for psychological problems.
