Is anyone else experiencing posting problems? Half my posts are disappearing into cyberspace; can’t access my own or other members’ previous posts, ‘search’ doesn’t work; often can’t reach site; other glitches.

Yes, when I submit a post it often takes several minutes while I watch the “waiting for samharris.org” message (good time to make a sandwich). After that I get a blank page and have to use my bookmark to get back to the front page of the forum.

Not all the time but annoyingly often. Here we go again…

Try emptying your cache - usually speeds things up as some of these threads are 30 pages long

Keep posting, you’re almost at “jr. member” status! (I’ve only been here since Oct. of this year and I just noticed I’m a “Sr Member”—makes me feel like an old penis!)

What’s a cache and how do I empty it?

Also, I no longer get notified when someone responds on the post even though I have the box checked. hmmmnnn…is it because of my old penis, I mean, Sr. member status?
