I’m not much into comic book adventures, but I saw this on a recommendation. I saw “The Dark Knight” because I heard it had political overtones and that intrigued me. I loved it, mainly because of Heath Ledger. He’s been nominated for an Academy Award, btw.
Anyway, someone recommended “Iron Man.” I watched it and loved it. I recommend it too. Unlike “The Dark Knight,” Iron Man has a satisfactory ending and it’s main character develops an altruistic conscience after being kidnapped in the desert of Afghanistan. He was a weapons manufacturer before that but events that affected him personally lead him to change the focus of his corporation.
