Do you really want to be confined to a personal identity for eternity?
Do you really want to live in bliss forever?
Do you really want to experience an eternal spiritual orgasm?
Yep.

If you believe that you can choose to be happy, then you should just go ahead and do that.
Let me know how that turns out for ya.

It would appear that Sam Harris shares my viewpoint on this matter, not yours.

I am a theist, because nature , and the revelation of the bible, points clearly to a intelligent designer of everything that exists.
Then perhaps you could explain these arthritic hands.
i believe in a fallen worls, as described in genesis.
So you believe that God made the world in seven days?
Yes, of course.
Did days exist before the earth was created?
The length of time called “day” is relevant only on the planet earth.
There would be no way of telling how long it took to make a universe in which days did not exist.
