“spiritual” = simply conceptual
inseparable of the beginningless/endless sea of concepts.
And a book devoted to this concept-
well, seems already written/read from the perspectiveless perspective.
Hmmm, cool that this book/explanations (grin) apparently is—-
all is ok
as it is
Slip sliding on this currentless current
a faint chuckle echos.

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.

The mind evolved to seek those things that bring it to a temporary sense of completion:
A full stomach…...a warm shelter….....a sexual liaison….a drink of alcohol…...a cigarette…...an accumulation of resources….admiration form its peers…..
It evolved to search out those things and events that assuage its ever present need to survive.
This tension to survive does not stop when its physical needs are met.
They are transferred to the psychological realm and the brain seeks out those events that will temporarily soothe its innate fear of impending doom.
It labels the items that it imagines will dulcify its angst as “spiritual”.
It seeks safety in prayers to imaginary gods, tries to quiet its own incessant roof brain chatter, acquires routines that it imagines will influence the outcome of its life in beneficial ways, immerses itself in magical or religious thought, seeks out those who imagine themselves to have attained ultimate peace…...the list goes on and on.
All things “spiritual” are merely the brain’s search for a little vacation from its most demanding job:
Survive and Reproduce.
