Did Peter write his letters to the church in Greek or Hebrew?
The History Channel has a series called, Who Wrote the Bible. Their so-called experts say it is improbable that Peter wrote his letters at all, since he was not learned and most likely did not know how to write in Greek. They say that he most likely dictated his letter to a scribe. In their eyes, they discount the whole notion that Peter wrote the letters at all.
My question is, what say you on this matter?
(I don’t think it quite relevant because we do not know for sure if it was written in Hebrew and translated to Greek. Who really knows. There is no hard evidence either way. Hence, we come back to reason vs faith.)
