This is just one more example of why religions are so dangerous.

The Washington Times itself being founded by the religious kook Sun Myung Moon, whose ally Falwell said the same thing about 9/11 being a punishment for homosexuality.

These religious fanatics have corrupted the basis of religion.

They will always respond that ‘God’ caused destruction to smite the unbeliever because he was a sinner.

I say “God caused the Earth to rotate on it’s axis so life could grow. God set the Earth in this orbit and distance from the sun so that water could exist in three states, gaseous, liquid and solid. God gave us the gift of ‘the tree of knowledge’ so we could know the difference between what is good for humans and what is bad for humans.”

I say that corruption in institutionalized religion should be exposed for what it is: greed and pride and (with cults) lust.
