The real problem with religion is that it opens the door to magical thinking.
If you believe any of the equally delusional schematics that the world’s religion outline,
nothing is unbelievable.
It is no different to believe that the creator of the universe tortured and killed his only son to pay
for your sins or that by killing innocent people you will get seventy two virgins in an after life.
If you buy into any spiritual belief….....nothing is beyond belief.
You can even invent your very own religion like the Mormons in which you will get your very own planet when
you die.
And hey…...you can even become God if you play by the rules.
