Related to this is the old epigram that “The average woman would rather have beauty than brains because the average man can see better than he can think.”

Well most of us gals can pretend to be dumb but beauty is all the way through.  I had the spotlight for enough years but at 74, I’m fading and it is okay for me to be bright.  The smart gals know how to do this.  I’ve always gone for the smart guys.  I went from one M.D. to a PhD in Nuclear Physics.  Neither one could screw in a light bulb.  But I did have brilliant kids.  I made the most of what was given to me.

We must never forget that all the Republicans running for President have shown no interest in Evolution. I’ve never voted for a Democrat and will need to do some research.

I wonder. Did this intelligent being get bored with dinosaurs?

I had a funny (at least to me) brain-picture when I read this of my favorite kids who, at age 3, exhibited an obsession with dinosaurs which lasted 10 years.  A year after the fascination had faded, there was a 14-yo looking with utter disgust at a room full of a decades worth of dinosaur figures, pictures, book, movies, posters, sheets, comforter, rug, towels, washcloths, pajamas, robes, slippers.

Dinosaurs reigned supreme for 10 years and within a 3-hour time period, the room had entered an age of complete dinosaur extinction…

Perhaps this intelligent designer DID get bored with dinosaurs… which was then followed by the puberty years where raging hormones WOULD explain a lot of the old testament and the “thou shalt not kill… unless I tell you too and I am telling you to go kill ” mood swings.

Neither one could screw in a light bulb.

That’s probably because they preferred to screw in the back seat of a car. One really has to wonder why you needed so many husbands to figure this out.

I dated one Medical Doctor for years but married a Nuclear Physicist. I adopted his son and had two daughters.  Once was enough.  However my ex is on his 5th wife. I raised the kids on my own and they turned out extremely well.  I now have two grandkids, 23 and 25.

I’ve had a glorious life, but old age has found me arthritic but a couple of new knees and a new hip and I’m almost as good as new.  At 74, one does not completely heal from these operations so I play on the internet and have written off and on for a couple of web sites.

For generations, this divine inspiration has be planted in the minds of several cults; making them feel they are driven to kill by their own creator.  Maybe these divine creators had a sense of humor we may have missed.  Tribes have tried to kill other tribes and we still do it.

Debunking Intelligent Design

There are no experiments that can test the existence of one being who has designed the entire universe. So intelligent design flunks—it can not even be considered a science because it can’t be studied scientifically.

They are seriously studying the most intricate components of human celluar structure to show that the tiny designs are structurally similar to instruments which humans have engineered mechanically in an effort to declare….. you guessed it….. like humans, the ‘Designer’ must have been as intelligent and purposeful.

The best examples I can think against intelligent design come from my own life:

Allergies
The Appendix

These convince me far more than any intellectual discussion.

And they are failing miserably at it too. Just look at what N.J Matzke did to their claim that bacterial flagellum are irreducibly complex.
