Some people actually believe that a God-Man created the entire universe.
They believe that after this God-Man made humans, he came down to mate with one of the females.
This coupling resulted in a God-Man-human hybrid.
The humans didn’t do exactly what this God-Man-thing wanted, so the he tortured and
killed the God-Man-human-hybrid-thing to pay for their shortcomings.
These people also believe that if they believe that, they will get to spend eternity in the company
of this God-Man.
Isn’t that about the oddest thing you’ve ever heard?

No to mention the ritualistic cannibalism called “taking communion”.

Wanna hear another funny thing?
One of the men trying to become the President of the United States believes
that if he plays things right and pleases the God-Man,
he will get his very own planet.
He believes that he will eventually become the God-Man in charge of this new world.
He believes that he and his family will live in their new home forever.
If he really believes that, one wonders how important this planet is to him.
The other man running for President believes in the God-Man that killed his own son.
What was funny is now getting scary.

People who nominally believe in the bible (which Romney doesn’t. .. they have the Book of Moron) are actually very pro forma about it all. Do you seriously think that Obama believes in Jesus Christ and Santa God? Come on. No literate, intelligent person buys any of that crap and he’s both.

Well all know politicians either mouth the words or don’t get elected. There are politicians who don’t mouth the words, but they don’t hold any office either so their status as politicians is purely theoretical.

This is a political reality. I am not going after Obama just because he’s enough of a political realist to play the game well enough to win it. We all get it, we get it’s bullshit and we get that he gets it, at least,  all the adults in the nation. Nothing needs to be said explicitly. It’s one of the great things about being intelligent. A lot of things are just implicit and nothing needs to be said between us. It’s like a big conspiracy you’re born automatically a part of.

You are probably right.
There is only one admitted atheist in the U.S. congress.
It’s hard to believe that he got elected considering the level of religious delusion prevalent in the country today.
