Sam Harris

I am collecting all of Sam Harris' media appearances, especially audio files of his various debates, interviews, and talk radio segments.  I have come across quite a bit of material that is not listed on his website.  I want to assemble a master list of everything that is out there for those Sam Harris fans who just can't get enough!

Here is a list of appearances for which audio files are available on the internet.  I discovered most of these by Google.  Some require subscriptions, however, I'd be willing to share some of these w/ anyone interested.

I have all of the above files.  However, there are a few out there I’ve heard about but was not able to get my hands on.  Here is a list of what I’ve heard about, but have not been able to download myself.

Live at the New York Public Library (Sam Harris in conversation w/ Oliver McTiernan, Sept 25, 2006 – I’ve contacted the NYPL, they say they will post audio for this debate on their website within the next 3 weeks.)

The Al Franken Show can be found on the Air America Radio Network site.

To download the full podcasts w/ Sam Harris, you will need to get a Premium membership for the site.  You can purchase a 1-day membership for only $1.95.  A small price considering how amazing these interviews are.

Sam spoke at the New York Ethical Society and it was shown on C-Span 2, I think November 2005. I’ve seen the recorded program several times. it was great. i think you can probably get more info from the Ethical Society. sometimes referred to in NY as the Society for ethical cutlure.

I know the Ethical Society in St. Louis has a website so I’m sure the one in NY does also
