Here’s a story about women being highly valued and well treated under Islamic law.

Here’s a story about highly valued and well treated girls being bombed for not wearing burqa to school, or maybe for getting an education that involves more than the Koran.

Yet another current example of how wonderful life is for women under Islamic law.

And I hope we haven’t already forgotten this horrible incident. (!!warning!!—it’s very graphic and truly difficult to watch much of this at all once the victim is on screen). The girl was a 17-year old Yezidi (non-Muslim Kurds that worship some type of archangel but not Lucifer) who eloped with a Muslim boy, and was lured back to her town by her own family, only to be ambushed by the mob and stoned to death. This isn’t an Islamic stoning, but when you hear of a stoning under Islamic law, these are images of how those words translate into reality.

The photo below is of a “highly valued” woman being buried to her waist to be stoned to death under Islamic law in Iran.

What on earth can be done to stop this criminal abuse?

I hope this woman was watching “Thelma & Louise” and got some ideas (except driving the car off a cliff)

There’s the International Campaign Against Honour Killings and there’s always Amnesty International (specifically their Stop “honour killings” in Iraq page).

Yeah, it’s much better to stone them as agents of the devil than to admit she doesn’t like you.

What’s the matter, kope?  Are you ashamed to admit a girl broke your heart?  Do you value honor and power more than truth and honesty?  Does a woman deserve to die for spurning your affections?

Please explain how a woman who does not commit a violent crime should be punished with violence.

At least Jesus got something right when he stopped a crowd of men from stoning a woman accused of adultery by saying, “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.”  Before you accuse everyone else of sin, you better make sure your heart is pure.

It’s sad that a race of people went from discovering Algebra to this kind of stupidity. All due to religion.
