Notes:

India is very diverse set of communities, and the ancient scriptures and ayurveda seem to be the life manuals for many Indians.

Less money spent on science and research in India. Seems challenging if not impossible in my lifetime, to experience an India living with scientific reasoning and having the correct manuals of life and the world.

Too much of hard wired deep rooted beliefs, experiences and wrong neural maps in people’s brains about things.

Constitutional laws make it illegal to hurt anyone’s religious sentiments, but permit to apple scientific temper!

Even if laws were changed, the people, politicians, vaastu consultants, feng shui, astrologers, pujaris, priests, politicians, film stars, places of worship, casts, etc.  seem very challenging to be overcome, especially without risking lives of oneself or loved ones.  Poverty, illiteracy (total and scientific both), population, magical thinking, politicians, etc all make it a risky proposition to share even ‘thoughts’! But it’s fun poking around whenever safely one can.

But it’s always that feeling that one must tell another being of what this reality is really about!  I am glad I was born in this lifetime as I have so much more clarity thanks to scientists.

The folks battling to stay alive and healthy and manage their families find it challenging to add life risks to themselves.

Sam Harris! You are making life peaceful and hopeful for folks gasping in silence, confusion or ridicule! Hope you visit India someday! I am glad you are doing what you do! Hope this world soon becomes a peaceful place. and people use the times of their brains for doing non religious things!

Won’t say God bless you! Will sign off with a THANKS!

Objectivism has made its roots in India!

I shall review all the links you’ve shared. I had not heard about them. I’ve also heard of an Indian Rationalist Association. It’s nice to see nature striving to reveal itself to all folks!

I hope things change soon as since many years people have been using their brains and their lives for things which are not true. It’s sad to see mental blindness in folks.

I hope scientific thinkers can live safely and spread peace.
