If someone do not believe that New York City exists then he have the right to believe that, “New York city no not exists” create forums and try to convince people around the world.

Atheism doesn’t try to convince anyone of anything (that’s proselytizing). You shouldn’t try to make more of it than is there…it’s just the absence of belief.

I thought I was only supposed to write one sentence.
When I was 8 yrs old, a priest in our Christian Living class explained to us that women were the vessel of sin and that because of Eve we, the girls, were destined to be subject to men for the rest of eternity, by God’s command. As an 8 yr old, I was already a feminist and I knew damn well that I was smarter than my brother and that I would never be subject to a man. So, I looked at Father Tim and thought: “You’re a liar.” Once I knew he was lying about that, it didn’t take long to figure out that he was lying about all the other stuff too. By the time I was 11 yrs old, I was an atheist but I started down that road because at 8 yrs old I was a feminist.
(Andrew): He may…I don’t know…but that has nothing to do with his atheism, which speaks only to his lack of belief in gods. If he wants to try, in his books, to convince others to become atheists, that’s proselytizing, but a different issue.

So, your rejection of sexism led you to question everything else they were feeding you? Great! That makes a lot more sense.
I would say that you are a skeptic because you just couldn’t swallow sexism. skepticism leads to atheism.
I am an atheist because the alternatives are not logical options.

If you do not believe in God, do you believe in life?
The statements are meaningless and don’t deserve a response other than, “whatever… if it makes you happy.” God, Zeus or any invisible mythical being is irrelevant to any discussion of life or existence. Religion is important in discussing human history and belief systems, not science.
