I was watching the Daily Show last week, and they had a feature on the Christian Exodus movement, which seeks to gather all the fundies in one state (North Carolina, I believe) and they they can reach critical mass, put creches in the schools, Ten Commandment at streetcorners, stone adulterers, etc .  One hilarious aspect of this whole thing was that whiloe 6 or 7 people had relocated as a result of the movement, the movements intrepid leader was held up….  liveing in California.  This morning, I had an epiphany:  the Champion, revealed!  I say we buy him a ticket to join his brethern in Carolina.  Hopefully, they will banish the internet as sinful, and then we will be done with him.

Please!  It’s South Carolina, not North Carolina they are headed for.  Here is their web site:

Whereas, the general government has violated the U.S. Constitution, its compact with the States, through unconstitutional actions including, but not limited to, the following:

  * Expenditures on foreign and domestic welfare;*
  * Infringement of our God-given right to keep and bear arms;
  * U.S. Supreme Court ruling Engel v. Vitale (1962) criminalized prayer in public schools;
  * U.S. Supreme Court ruling Abington School District v. Schempp (1963) criminalized Bible reading in public schools;
  * U.S. Supreme Court ruling Roe v. Wade (1973) found a non-existent right to abort babies in the U.S. Constitution;
  * U.S. Supreme Court ruling Stone v. Graham (1980) criminalized the display of the 10 Commandments on public property;
  * U.S. Supreme Court ruling Lawrence v. Texas (2003) redefined liberty to protect all forms of evil confined to “private” quarters;
  * Federal appropriation of money for education (Department of Education);
  * Creation and maintenance of a national retirement system (Social Security);
  * Creation and maintenance of a national health insurance entitlement (Medicare);

Interesting membership document.

Well mhatter13, if it was on the Daily Show, I’m sure it portrayed liberals as superior to Bush, Conservatives, Christians, and people of faith in the areas of intellect and morals. But that is ok, let them have their own little world. Even though it is supposed to be comedy, liberals flock to the show to get mental support.

Hey, did you know the host of the show left a party in tears the night Bush was re-elected President of the United States of America? Ya, that’s the kind of comedy host that can relate to and make red state America laugh. Ya right.

Even Jesus cried the day Bush was re-elected.  When I say Jesus, I mean earlier action figure versions that could fly, walk through walls, turn into giants, and various forms of food processing, before he had dopplegangers, and before Jesus was invented by madmen in desert huts.  Nostradamus also forsaw the end coming.
