Betrayal of Trust Garrett, L.

While this is not a book that deals specifically with religion or the science & philosophy of morality, it does, in a very large sense, highlight many of these issues with it’s exhaustive and beautifully chronicled history of public health.

Betrayal of Trust takes us on a journey around the globe, from the foundations of public health forged in 19th century New York, to drug resistant Tuberculosis, alcoholism, and suicide in post-communist Russia, and beyond.

This is an exceptionally informative book, and it is meticulously researched, as is Garrett’s custom.
