Brain & Belief: An exploration of the human soul McGraw, John J. Aegis Press (June 1, 2004)

A well written and well researched book that attempts to get to the bottom of the concept of the human soul.  To bring the novice among us (i.e. those like myself) up to speed, McGraw gives a brief lesson on what is known about the brain and how it functions, and provides a history of the soul in the context of religion and culture.  What I appreciate the most about this book is that it is written with the voice of someone who genuinely cares about what is true.
