Everything and More: A Compact History of Infinity Wallace, D.F.

Wallace’s education was grounded in philosophy, modal logic, and mathematics. Belted with such training, he uses his particular prose to present a brief history of the mathematical concept of infinity. The book, ultimately, is Wallace’s ingenious dissection of Georg Cantor’s 1891 theorem which laid the modern mathematical basis for infinity within elementary set theory.
