The Ascent of Man Bronowsky, J.
Poetry in Science
I decided to purchase it, because the new edition had a foreword by Richard Dawkins. But I didn’t expect much from it, since I knew that it was written in the seventies and for sure the material has been extensively described in many other books. To my surprised I have found it a book where you enjoy every word and every sentence. If may say so, it’s on the same level as Carl Sagan’s books, in which science is described in a very poetic and humanistic way. I have also found it essential in order to appreciate and enjoy much more the television series now on DVD. Once you read it, it will remain as your companion.
