The Book of Chuang Tzu Palmer, Martin April 6, 2007

If you are interested in eastern philosophy and skeptical thinking, I highly recommend this book. Zhuangzi is one of the founders of Taoism and well known for his skeptical thinking. There is a lot of reading between the lines that has to be done here, a lot of discarding of things that are put forth that were a part of the culture and the time this was written, and yet are not really relevant to the points being discussed. These deep matters that are hard to put in words are discussed in various ways, sometimes in monologue, sometimes poetically, or sometimes with cute anecdotes that are clearly fiction, but get the point across when you think deeply about it. I really enjoyed this three-part book! I highly recommend it.
