The Miracle of Theism. Mackie, J.

Oxford analytic philosopher John Mackie, considers and refutes arguments for the existence of god. This is a dogged and persistent, though fair, treatment of the arguments for the existence of god. It considers miracles, design arguments, cosmological arguments, beneficial arguments etc etc. Mackie is largely influenced by Hume, but the book is also a detailed refutation of Richard Swinburne’s The existence of God.
