The Sociopath Next Door Stout, M. Three Rivers Press (March 14, 2006)

A chilling, easy to understand description of sociopaths which, according to the author, constitute 1 in every 25 Americans.  She provides several examples of seemingly normal folks who, upon close examination, exhibit sociopathic behavior.  Since such people make up a hugely disproportionate fraction of our criminals and penitentiary inmates, not to mention cause a huge fraction of the unhappiness in the world, it pays to be able to recognize them.
