On the plus side:

Are you religious?
Yes, somewhat 43% 16,178
Yes, very 37% 14,092
No 20% 7,466

20%?  Really?  Wow.  If that number is close to reflective of reality, there just might be hope for the world.

Well, may be a bit off topic but, if Bible prophets are correct, your hopes will be dashed.  The devil’s main goal in life is to be worshipped like God.  There are very powerful entities at work right now seeking to unite the entire planet under a common economic, religious, and political system.  So yuse atheists is going to get that ole time religion.  One glorious world under Lucifer, It’ll be grand, as long as you don’t live downwind from the camps.

No one will enter the new world order unless he or she will make a pledge to worship
Lucifer.  No one will enter the new age unless he will take a Luciferian initiation.

Your position is they aren’t correct, why?

Why would anyone believe they were, other then out of ignorance. One only has to read (actually read) the bible to see what nonsense it.

In any case, let’s pretend they are correct. The world MUST end, it cannot be stopped and MOST of humanity is doomed to hell. These things MUST happen even if there were not a single atheist on earth.

What is it with you people, you make totally vague sweeping statements without backing any of it up with substance. You can’t give a single example of why its nonsense?

EMF:  The next time you are near a body of water, and you see someone walking on the surface, you will know that:

a)  Jesus has returned to Earth

b)  the water is reflecting but it is just a sheen on a wet surface, as when the tide goes out on sandy flats.

c)  the person is made out of styrofoam

d)  you are dreaming

e)  other (please explain)

Speaking of nonsense, if you pick up a book on entomology (a branch of zoology that deals with insects) you will find that there are about 350,000 different species of beetles.  That’s just beetles, not other kinds of insects.  In your opinion, how did 350,000 species of beetles survive the Biblical flood described in Genesis?

a)  lots of animals survived without getting on the Ark.  Mountain tops were not covered.

b)  God made sure they all got on the Ark.

c)  Beetles are small so they could cling to floating logs.

d)  The story of Noah’s Ark is not meant to be taken literally.

e)  This is a mystery meant to confound reason and show God who has the mind and heart of a little child.

f)  God made 350,000 species of beetles because beetle collecting is his hobby.  Why would he want to destroy such a valuable collection?

g)  other (please explain)

The biblical flood was local to Mesopotamia, not global.  God’s command was to fill the Earth, but they failed to obey that, and stayed put, right in the middle of a huge flood plain.  Funny though, as maligned as this story is , recent DNA evidence support it quite nicely.

(Andrew):  Bad track record.  The Bible is rife with failed prophecy.

Oh, yes! Here we go again. “The Bible is absolutely true, except for those parts that aren’t” defense.

Where in the Bible does it confirm your assertion that “they” only flooded the plains of Mesopotamia? Why would the Divinely Inspired™  Word of the Lord contain such falsehoods as the claim that all life was wiped out upon the Earth when it wasn’t? If divine inspiration can’t get the facts straight, then what separates it from simple inspiration? Why are you allowed to pick and choose which parts of His revealed wisdom is truth, and which is allegory? And why do you guys bring in science to your defense when it suits you, only to disregard it when it doesn’t?

But then you are well practiced at believing something to be absolutely true, except when you believe it isn’t.
