Apparently Korean scientists injected a paraplegic woman with stem cells. "The sensory and motor nerves of the patient started to improve 15 days after the operation and she could move her hips. After 25 days, her feet responded to stimulation." After 19 years without sensation in her legs, she can now walk again.
Stem cells are a panacea.
And our government refuses to fund the research.
It is way too soon to start using words like panacea, but it is very, very promising.
