Apparently, God doesn’t have any influence in the oil industry, isn’t listening, or doesn’t give a fat rat’s ass about the price of oil.
Of course there is always the possibility that there is no God. That would be my choice.

But wait! Perhaps God has answered those prayers, but in his usual mysterious way. The Chrysler corporation is now offering, with the purchase of a new car, a card that locks in the price of gas at $2.99 for three years.

So perhaps this is just Gods way of telling the faithful in America to buy domestic cars.

I take it there was no immediate answer.

An excerpt:

“Someone’s making a lot of money and it’s really, really wrong,” added Twyman, who founded the Prayer at the Pump movement last week to seek help from a higher power to bring down fuel prices, because the powers in Washington haven’t.

Rape, murder, genocide, poverty, malnutrition, infanticide, stoning, child abuse and molestation, etc…are also wrong, but God doesn’t do anything about stopping them either.

They believe that suppy and demand are driven by prayer (not by economics.) raspberry
