I’ll bet Wotonsson won’t detect any anti-Semitism in this post, either.

Don’t know who the man is, sounds like irony, but Jews do get hysterical when something happens to them and try immediately to associate it with anti-Semitism. When a Pole is beaten up by some foreigner, it’s an ordinary crime.  Have you ever heard of antii-Polonisme in such a case, I haven’t and I should have
Jews are both a nation and religion which is not the case as far as Poles are concerned, still I think the comparison is right, not exaggerated
See how strong jewish lobby is in the USA even though people who doubt or don’t believe in god certainly outnumber them having in fact no lobby at all
That’s not an accident, Jews do overplay using anti-Semitism card

Considering you were talking about Jews being “accidentally” attacked by skinheads; and considering that your “history” of Polish tolerance of Jews mysteriously skips from the pre-World War II period to the Communist (those commmies were atheists, you know) government of the 1960s, I’m not terribly surprised to find that you ‘stand with’ your Christian Polish comrades.

Jews in fact invaded Arab lands (what they believe to be so called promised land) after 1948. Not to mention Christians they are really getting on my nerves too. Every time they attend the march of the living in Auschwitz they make a lot of fuss if anyone of them is accidentally attacked by some fascist skin idiot(s). Then they hold the whole Polish nation responsible for what happened and accuse us of anti-Semitism. In fact overwhelming majority of Poles don’t care about them. It’s true that communists in Poland forced majority of Jews immigrate in 60’s, but before the World War II Poland was one of most tolerant country towards Jews in the world.
I always get mad when they whine about Polish anti-Semitism.
In this I am at one with my Polish Christian brothers

I’ll bet Wotonsson won’t detect any anti-Semitism in this post, either.

What I detect is an appeal for deference plus a lot of screeching.

Stay Well

I think you try to say that I seek arguments to justify me being at the Christian side, closing my eyes to what favours the contrary.  In different historical times before the World War II Jews fled to Poland from other parts of Europe to avoid perescution, that’s a historical fact and not my “history” By 1764, there were about 750,000 Jews in the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. The worldwide Jewish population was estimated at 1.2 million What does it tell you ? I don’t say there’s no anti-Semitism in Poland, much of it derived from Christianity, but clearly there was less hostility towards Jews in Poland than in other European countries, that’s undeniable. That’s something different from your vague suggestions.
When things went wrong with economy during socialism times in Poland (like in the 60’s), communists always played the same old trick, somebody had to be guitly, of course not them and the system they introduced. They took advantage of Polish anti-Semitism and pointed to Jews as allegedly responsible for all problems. Majority of Polish Jews were forced to leave Poland. I may assure you that many Polish communists(socialists) were in fact undercover Christians. Many of them baptised their children in secret, some not, but strictly out of fear.  Take my word for it, I’ve lived in Poland for 37 years and eperienced socialism in practice wink It would be funny if it hadn’t been tragic, you had money, went shopping, but couldn’t buy anything, shelves in shops were empty. There was an undegroud market with much higher prices, but access to it was limited.

History is complex as a rule, hardly ever black or white

One of the problems with jews is, 97 percent of them are not semetic, even if they were, like the Arabs, how can they prove this lineage? Everything about Jewry is a fraud, based on lies and deception. This is how they exist, by conning people o
by their murder and theft, then squealing like a pig about it if someone takes them to task. I dont care what “religion” they think they are. They are organized criminal con artists. Parasites.

What about the Jews from Iraq that were exiles from the ancient state of Israel to Iraq and lived there for centuries? What about the Jews from Yemen, and North Africa, Syria, Iran and other countries. There were Jews in Saudi Arabia at one point in time. Most of them now live in Israel. Around half of ALL Israeli Jews are refugees from Arab countries.

Jews have suffered from centuries of persecution by Christians and centuries of anti-Judaism. I suggest that you read David Nirenberg’s book Anti-Judaism, the Western Tradition. Nor is antisemitism limited to Christians. To those who think that atheists can’t be antisemites, you are wrong. It’s early morning and I don’t have time to write more right now.

That has been my experience as well. I can’t think of any other civilized nation that can get away with bulldozing hundreds of people’s houses and accuse anyone criticizing them as anti-Semitist. Imagine if the tables were turned around!
